Something new that I want to add to my blog is the Blog Roll. On the right of my blog you will notice a blog roll box that I have links to various blogs I visit frequently. Starting today I will actually make a post of new blogs that I add to my links.
Sin City AT-43 is a blog dedicated to AT-43 with battle repots, news, and articles. A very good read.

Last night we played a couple of games of AT-43. My we played Speical Mission 5 Landing. I was that attacker with my Red Blok and I played against Karmans. Red Blok was victorious in this encounter with my RPG Kollosus being the MVP unit killing off monkeys left and right.
My second game was against Therians. We played Special Mission 3 where I was getting runned down by Therains. 1 VP shy from attaining victory. Unfortunately my GenCol weakness is what did me in as my officers in both units got sniped.
Over all it was a fun night. It has been a while since I’ve played AT-43 and I really should play it more. It is really a great game with great rules that are fast and easy to learn.

Tomorrow’s AT-43 Monday at one of our LGS and I will be playing my Red Blok’s newest faction GenCol. This new faction allows me to take multiple’s of characters. Today I picke dup Anastasiay Tymofiyeva and painted her in a winter scheme suitable for the new Operation Frostbite expansion.

Looks like I will be buying UNA. I was fortunate enough to be given an AT-43 starter box yesterday. It has 2 factions that I never or nor longer have UNA and Therians. Looks like I will be starting a UNA force.

There are some great pictures of the up and coming game Dust Tactics over here. Some things I’ve learned is that you will be able to play them with AT-43. A big plus for me!

This past Friday was the beginning of Kawaii Kon 2008, a local Anime convention held annually at the Hawaii Convention Center. I’ve been the busy the last two days demoing games of Warmachine and Hordes. I did manage to get some time to play some games though. Today is the last day. I can’t wait till its over!

Yesterday I picked up more Karmans. This time a unit of Kaptars and their attachement box and an Easy Trike box. I’m thinking I’m playing Karmans next AT-43 Monday.

Got most of the general work done on my Red Blok Terrain set. What I have here are two command structures (possibly one is a communications structure), a pair of water containers and a power generator. This is supposed to be a modular Red Blok base that is dropped in sections in areas where Red Blok forces need a quick command post. Just need to do the detail work on these guys.

The Rackham bug certainly has gotten to me these past couple of days. In the last couple of days I’ve ordered my Confrontation and AT-43 figures. On the way are:
Certainly I’ve been bitten by the pre-painted goodness of Rackham.

I am pleased to see the Rackham games are growing here locally. We got a couple more people into AT-43 and in a bit I won’t be the only one in our game group to pick up Confrontation. In anticipation of all this new gaming blood I ordered some more Confrontation stuff to build up my Griffin army. I was tempted to get another starter set but I really don’t feel like playing Wolfen. That may change when the army book comes out. I should be getting the following in the next couple days:
- Griffin Templars Unit Box
- Griffin Templars Attachment Box
- Griffin Fusiliers Unit Box
- Griffin Army Book
What I’m really waiting for this year are the new Dirz models. It’s going to be a while so knowing me I’d probably end up buying Wolfen in between all the wait.

In the last couple of days I’ve gotten myself into two more games and added one more faction to AT-43 after I just got rid of one. Yesterday I purchased the Classic Battletech Introductory Boxset, a couple of days before then I ordered the Heavy Gear Blitz rulebook and tokens along with the Peace River and South starter boxes and just today I asked my local game shop to hold 1 of each of the Karman’s that just came out along with the army book. On a side note I have found a buyer for my Warhammer Dwarves so more money for more miniatures. The cycle continues.
